Hi Sam and Rauleigh - many thanks for the link from your photos Trip to Balingup Feb 2010. So glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon - perhaps in winter when the valley will be green and we will have those lovely misty morning views. Best wishes to you both.

A good interesting and fun site. We could do with more of these sites. Well done to you both for sharing and imaging your life. Also, a great many thanks for looking after the Early Cycle Lighting web-site, much appreciated. PETER

Hi There, I found your site as I've been searching for information on the Trotman family of Swindon, and I noticed Alan & Valerie's photos on your site. I know their farm, Grange Farm (and nurseries/garden centre), has been demolished along Haydon End Lane, Haydon Wick and they have moved, but we wondered where they have moved to? Hopefully you can let me know their new address, or village/location, so we can track them down again. Hope to hear from you soon. Very best wishes, Debra (Swindon UK)

I too have a Carbide Bycycle Lamp, by the C.M.Hall Lamp Co. Kenosha Wis. USA Its in good shape and I was wondering if anyone had any other info about it or knew what it might be worth. I know its from the late 1800's. Its a Model "S" Solar. And I would be interested in selling it
